Key Responsibilities
As an Operations Specialist, you will:

• Freight Management: Handle import/export bookings, pricing, quotations, and end-to-end shipping and customs documentation.
• Operational Documentation: Oversee transport-related documents, including booking confirmations, BLs, pre-advices, and loading confirmations.
• Carrier Management: Nominate carriers, hauliers, shipping lines, airlines, and GSAs in alignment with rates, customer needs, and INCOTerms.
• Customs Documentation: Prepare essential customs paperwork (e.g., ISF, COO, clearance documents) for international freight movement.
• Client Relationships: Develop and nurture relationships to provide exceptional customer service tailored to client requirements.
• Customer Support: Collaborate with the Sales Department and conduct occasional client visits to maintain strong partnerships.
• Key Account Management: Manage key accounts to ensure consistent, high-quality service and performance.
• Complaint Resolution: Address complaints in accordance with IIFA Terms and Conditions, ensuring accurate KPI tracking.
• Global Communication: Work closely with Scan Global offices and agent networks worldwide.
• Cost Efficiency: Ensure cost-effective service solutions are implemented without compromising quality or reliability.
   

Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of experience in freight forwarding, with a focus on sea freight operations.
• Strong knowledge of ocean freight import processes.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with customs handling and transport insurance.
   

Desirable Skills:

• Extensive experience in sea freight operations.
