Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Finance Process Manager to drive the design, implementation and continuous improvement of global finance processes. This role is central to ensuring consistency, efficiency and compliance across financial operations globally. The ideal candidate brings a blend of strong finance acumen, operational excellence and consulting experience(preferred), with the ability to lead change across diverse geographies and teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process Design, Documentation & Implementation: Lead the development and standardization of global finance processes across accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, reporting and other core finance functions. Facilitate process design workshops with cross-functional stakeholders, and define, document and maintain comprehensive process maps and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistency, efficiency and compliance across regions and teams.
  • Gap Analysis & Remediation: Identify process inefficiencies, control weaknesses and regional deviations, and implement actionable solutions to close gaps and enhance process maturity.
  • Training & Change Management: Design and deliver training programs for regional finance teams to support the adoption of new processes and compliance with global standards.
  • Project Management: Manage and support cross-functional finance transformation projects in partnership with IT, business operations, regional finance teams and external consultants, as needed.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with key internal stakeholders, including Finance Leadership and Internal Audit, as well as external auditors, to align on process goals and ensure operational readiness.
  • Continuous Improvement: Establish a culture of continuous improvement by regularly soliciting feedback, conducting process reviews, analyzing performance data and introducing best practices.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business administration or a related field.
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in finance operations, including at least 2–3 years in a management consulting or finance transformation role.
  • Proven experience leading global finance initiatives in a matrixed, multinational environment.
  • Strong project management skills; experience with Lean, Six Sigma or other continuous improvement methodologies is an advantage.
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Familiarity with automation and AI technologies
  • Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally and influence without direct authority.

Preferred Experience

  • Strong knowledge of finance processes, including procure-to-pay (P2P), order-to-cash (O2C) and record-to-report (R2R).
  • Experience with ERP systems including Microsoft Dynamics 365, and finance automation tools.
  • Proficiency in process mapping tools, such as Microsoft Visio.
  • Proven experience developing, writing and maintaining Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and detailed process documentation.
  • Familiarity with internal controls and regulatory requirements.
  • Experience working in a shared services or global business services (GBS) environment.
